Sarah Wandz is an artist working across painting, murals, and illustration. Her work drifts between expressive figures and symbolic imagery, often circling themes of identity, longing, and connection. She works primarily in acrylic and mixed media, drawn to rich color, texture, and the pull between intimacy and unease. Guided by intuition, her process balances control with spontaneity, letting emotion shape the final image. Her pieces invite viewers into a quiet, familiar feeling—something soft, strange, and human.

Luke is a Grand Valley native who enjoys making things. Collage and sculpture are his current favorite mediums as he draws on a collection of scraps of paper accumulated from years of obsessive hoarding. The result of mixing outdated textbooks and magazines is a  vintage absurdism born out of thrift stores and junkyards that (at least for him)used to define the grand valley. Moving back to grand junction after 20 years abroad he was sad to find no Van Gundy’s and no Junke Man but he makes do somehow. 

Meghan moved to Grand Junction in 2019 to explore Colorado. With her sense of wonder and great depth of perception, Meghan experiments like a mad scientist with flora and minerals, chemistry and technology, imagery and abstractions. Her multimedia investigations in nature and landscapes take form in multiple mediums including oil paint, alternative photographic processes, collage, and digital editing.

Meghan primarily paints with oils in her studio, using her photography and experiments as sources of inspiration. Her work blends adventure and observation, focusing on colors and shapes derived from nature. For her, painting conveys perception, influenced by nature's patterns and optical phenomena.

MK is a chronically online, mostly digital illustrator. She trained in traditional animation and so focuses on narrative work for a range of projects; book covers, vinyl records, fiction podcasts— the smaller and weirder the niche, the better. Originally from Boulder, MK transplanted to Los Angeles, and then moved back to CO to recover after she realized she knew every highway mentioned in “The Californians” SNL skit. 

Lindsay Falsone is an artist born and raised in the Grand Valley. She works primarily in pen and ink, and her work often explores themes of consciousness, connection, death, rebirth, and the parallels in our daily lives. She uses symbolism drawn from folklore, animism, and the natural world as her primary inspiration.

In addition to illustration, Lindsay is known for her handmade textile banners. Influenced by American traditional tattoo imagery, each banner is created using vintage and repurposed fabrics, resulting in one of a kind pieces that mix bold tattoo culture with the world of textiles.

Katie uses digital drawing and recycled book collage to create art that expresses her love for animals, with a style informed by her interest in heraldry. She values re-use and conservation — themes reflected in her subjects, processes, and media. From River Dolphins to Cactus Cats, her work features a variety of endangered animals, alongside creatures from fantasy and folklore.

Aaron is a multidisciplinary artist and student with a passion for exploring the interaction of material, permanence, and space. Guided by a varied experience and a soft spot for unloved subjects, he is led by learning and exploration in his work. Currently seeking a BFA from Colorado State University's College of Liberal Arts in conjunction with an Agriculture degree, he looks forward to opportunities to grow his practice.

Justin Squier is a mixed media sculptor and Colorado native. Growing up in the western high desert of Grand Junction, instilled in him a deep reverence for history and the rugged visual landscape. Squier learned of his need to create through an early interest in vintage vehicles. That interest taught him skills to manipulate materials that now aid in art. Justin creates to explore the true freedom that he believes only exists within art; therefore, his art pieces often look different from one another. He has recently endeavored to blur the line between functional and sculptural through several usable pieces. He received his BFA from Colorado Mesa University with an emphasis in sculpture. Squier serves on several boards throughout the Grand Valley with the goal of maintaining and growing the artistic culture.

Amber Asakura is a mosaic and micromosaic artist based in Fruita, Colorado.

She assembles mosaic artworks using salvaged broken dishes, glass scraps, and other reclaimed materials. She also creates one of a kind micromosaic jewelry pieces, meticulously crafted from tiny threads of hand cut glass. She explores themes that celebrate the natural world and human experience, including insects, animals, botanical forms, anatomy, and sacred iconography, finding inspiration in both the complex beauty of nature and the profound mysteries of existence. At the heart of her work is a deep fascination with human connection and the ways art can make those bonds visible.

A member of the Colorado Mosaic Artists and the Grand Valley Glass Art Society, her work has been exhibited in galleries across Colorado.

Jess Hedlun was raised in Fruita, Colorado and today still considers it her home. She studied both printmaking and sculptural mediums at Colorado Mesa University. Jess is heavily inspired by the natural world in both her artistic process and content, drawing from the beautiful landscapes, creatures, and farmland that surround her and all of the memories and experiences that come from this region. She hopes to capture the little moments and hidden emotions of this rural desert land.

I am BoOM! Artist, silversmith, and creator of the famous BoOMPiece. I bring the energies of power, resilience, and freedom into every personally crafted piece, and I always work to awaken the rebel spirit in those who interact with my art.

I was personally trained in the classic methods of silversmithing by the world renowned and master silversmith, Melanie Kline. It has been suggested that I may be a silversmith reincarnate, a possibility I am still processing.

Andrew Patrick Watson is a Navajo artist that was born in the mid 1970’s in Page, Arizona. Born from a Caucasian mother and Navajo father made made him an outcast with his surrounding peers. At an early age he discovered Art, Skateboarding and
Alternative Music. Arizona Provided him with a
unique landscape and culture that manifested into a visual language in his work. His work is a balanceing act of Navajo icons intercrossed
with contemporary pop. He currently lives in
Grand Junction,Colorado with his 2 children and lovely wife.

"My work is an interpretation of the memories and experiences I have from my childhood till now. Growing up in a Navajo community in Arizona, there were Many cultural signifiers that I would see on a daily basis
that has surfaced in my work. One being, rug weaving patterns painted on cinderblock/beadstands walls
thru-out the town and reservation. My interpretations of this textile has evolved into a graphically distinct pattern that some have interpreted percussive vibrations.
I use vivid colors and distinctive lines to convey strayed landscapes. The natural elements are highly significant to
me- Water, Sky , Sand, Moonlight and Cliff faces are connected temperaments that come together as contermporary portaiture of the landscape."

Cassie Knight is a 24-year-old artist from Grand Junction, Colorado, who primarily works in digital media. Focusing on photorealism and portraiture, she uses digital art as a creative outlet that allows her to explore detail, expression, and the human experience. While art is not her primary career path, it remains an important part of her life, helping her stay grounded and connected to her creativity. Through her work, Knight strives to capture both realism and emotion, creating pieces that reflect her appreciation for the people and moments that inspire her.
